UCO's vision insurance provider is Vision Service Plan (VSP). As no insurance cards are provided by VSP, members just need to inform the doctor's office and enrollment can be verified via the internet. If members would like a card, click on the "Print Your Own Card" link and follow the directions as prompted. When looking for network doctors, make sure to search in the "VSP Choice" network.
How do employees submit an online claim with VSP?
It’s easy! Follow these simple steps:
Go to vsp.com and log in to your account.
Once logged in, click on “Benefits & Claims” under the “Members” tab.
Select the “Claims & Reimbursement” box.
Click the “Submit and Out of Network Claim” bar to view form information and then click “Start New Claim.”
On the form, select the patient and then enter the practice information, services received and costs.
Upload up to three receipt images. (If you have more than three receipts or want to mail it instead, you can print it at this step to mail in.)
Click “Submit” and you’re done!
Based on your plan’s out-of-network benefits, members will receive a check in about 10 days.
