Living on Campus

Statistics show that students who live on campus make better grades and are more satisfied with their overall college experience.
Here are more reasons to Live Central:
Convenience! You are minutes away from your classes, the library, parking, campus activities, the Wellness Center, bookstores, and many other places that you will frequent while being a student on UCO's campus.
Grades! Statistics show that when you live on campus you make better grades.
No Monthly Bill! Students pay for housing on a semester basis. There is no need to save up for a monthly rent or those rising utility costs. No more tracking down your roommates for their part of rent, you are only responsible for yourself.
Safety! UCO was recently named one of the nation's safest campuses. We have Resident Assistants and a professional staff member on call every night of the year. Our reception desk is staffed 24 hours 7 days a week. We promote safety, and realize that safety is a basic need for students.
Make Friends! Your classmates are down the hall and on the floor above and below you. Organize a study group, watch television together, participate in intramural sports, or host a Halo tournament! Your peers have never been so convenient and easily accessible.
Programs! Programs are offered within each residence hall and on campus. All of them are at your fingertips. Residence Life administers programs that focus on academic success, student development, appreciation of diversity and multiculturalism, and social growth. Attend a program today!
College Experience! After completing their college career, students reflect upon their residence hall experience. The late night study groups, ordering pizza at 4am, late night talks, and positive relationships made can all be experienced when you live on campus.
Information About Moving to UCO
Moving to campus is an exciting time in your life! But, it may be overwhelming and you might not know where to start. Guide through our Future Students pages on our website and hopefully we will help make it easier on you when moving into your new home at Central!
Move in for Spring will begin January 11 at 9am. You will report to the building that you are living in to to receive your key and information to begin moving into your new home. During this time we ask that you park in a spot closest to your building in the green parking spaces labeled Housing.
Each hall's front desk will be open until midnight for leisurely check-in each night Friday-Sunday. If you are arriving after midnight there will be a sign posted at each door with a number for you to call and an RA will come assist you.
Want to know more information about your building? Visit our Options Page and click on the Hall that you will be living in.
