Academic Year Program

The Upward Bound Staff makes regular visits to target schools in order to monitor students' academic progress, provide academic and personal advisement, and to provide information about college preparation. Listed below are additional supportive services students receive:

Summer Residential Program

  

During the summer, a six-eight week academic study program is held on the UCO campus. Students reside in university housing along with a staff of residential/tutor advisors. Students are selected for participation on the basis of their GPA, attendance and participation during the Academic Year. Services are as listed:

Seniors

Students get a head start on their college plans by their participation in the Bridge Program during their senior year. The purpose of the Bridge Program is to assist students make a successful transition from  high school to college. Selection to participate during the Summer Bridge Program is based on GPA, ACT scores and program participation. Bridge Program activities/services:
