Conversation and Pronunciation Groups
Tutoring Central Conversation and Pronunciation Groups are designed to help UCO international students improve casual conversation skills by discussing everday phrases and idioms and engaging in conversation and activities that promote understanding and practice of the English language. These groups are led by Tutoring Central English Tutors.
UConversations:
This is where English language learners can come and practice their English conversation skills with native speakers. It is casual, fun and informative.
Conversation Group will be held Tuesdays at 3:00pm at Starbucks in the Nigh University Center this summer beginning June 4,2013. Come join in!

Tutoring Central is your central information center for tutoring on the UCO campus.
Tutoring Central or the "TC" is located in the northeast corner of West Hall across from Buddy's Cafeteria. Tutoring Central offers scheduling for and/or information about all free tutoring services and academic support programs on campus. Tutoring Central houses the UCO English and Writing Lab and provides English and Writing tutoring along with tutoring for basic math and science. It also serves as home base for the UCO Supplemental Instruction Program.
The TC English and Writing Lab
The TC English and Writing Lab is dedicated to helping students improve the quality of their academic writing in all university classes.
The English and Writing Lab tutors can help students improve their writing, organizational and vocabulary skills and build their overall confidence in their writing abilities.
The English and Writing Lab specializes in one-on-one tutoring in writing but our tutors are available on campus for special presentations about writing.

TC Math Tutoring
Tutoring Central provides tutoring for students in mathematics classes up to and including College Algebra. Students needing assistance with math courses beyond College Algebra such as calculus, triginometry etc. should seek help in the math lab in room 100 of the Math and Computer Science Building.
TC Science Tutoring
Tutoring Central provides tutoring for Intro to Chemistry, General Chemistry and General Biology. All other science tutoring is provided by the College of Math and Science. See link for Departmental Tutoring to the left on this page.
